Training at SDU: “The Role of Studying Abroad and Foreign Languages in Career Development”

A useful and informative training titled “The Role of Studying Abroad and Foreign Languages in Career Development” was successfully held at Sumgayit State University, organized by Lingua Language Center.

Students from various faculties of the university actively participated in the training and gained valuable insights into the wide opportunities that foreign language skills create for career building in the modern world.

During the training, the following topics were thoroughly discussed:

• The competitive advantage of foreign languages in the labor market
• Job and internship opportunities in international companies
• Scholarships and study abroad prospects
• The impact and practical benefits of foreign language knowledge in career development

Participants’ questions were answered, motivational examples based on real experience were shared, and interactive games were organized for students at the end of the event. Gifts and discount coupons were presented to the most active participants.

The main purpose of such projects is to support youth development and guide them in the right direction for future career planning.
