SAT Math

What is SAT?

The SAT is a standardized test that plays a major role in the admission process of many international universities, including ADA University in Azerbaijan. It is designed for high school students and measures their skills in English reading, writing, and mathematics.

The digital SAT is fully computer-based and is divided into two main sections: Verbal and Math. The results are important not only for admission decisions but also for scholarship considerations. Another advantage of the SAT is that it is offered multiple times throughout the year, giving students the chance to retake it as many times as needed before the admission deadline. During the application process, students send the highest score they have achieved, ideally as close as possible to the maximum 1600 points (800 in Math + 800 in Verbal).

A Closer Look at SAT Math

As for the SAT Math section, it covers the fundamentals of four main areas: Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving & Data Analysis, and Geometry & Trigonometry. Compared to other local and international mathematics programs, this curriculum is relatively less complex. In the final exam, students aim for the maximum score of 800, which can be achieved from a total of 44 questions across two separate modules, each containing 22 questions, completed within 35 + 35 = 70 minutes. Most of the questions are multiple-choice, while some are open-ended.

Our Approach to SAT Verbal Preparation

When it comes to the approach we take for SAT Math, our course equips students with all the necessary tools and strategies required to achieve the highest possible score. Lessons begin at a relatively light pace, and the speed and intensity are gradually increased in line with the group’s average level. Towards the final stages, students are intensively trained using official practice materials and past exam questions. Most importantly, thanks to our well-developed digital system, any type or scale of learning gap identified in students is addressed and eliminated in the shortest possible time.

Note: The structure, duration, and intensity of our SAT Math program can be adjusted according to the student’s individual goals and timeline.
